ABOUT ME

After completing a degree in Equine Science I spent 10 years working with horses. The running of a 5* livery yard, working at an international eventing yard and caring for and exercising Grand Prix dressage horses has given me a wealth of experience.

During my 3 years of study to gain an MSc in McTimoney Animal Manipulation, I also became a regular contributor to Horse Magazine. As a writer, I am frequently documenting training sessions with top riders and instructors as well as compiling informative articles and answering Q & A’s as a horse care expert.

Competing my own horses and dogs in a variety of disciplines has also given me the knowledge and appreciation of the demands and expectations of competition. I currently compete in dressage at Prix St George and in the past I have enjoyed eventing, show jumping, in-hand and ridden showing, horse agility and Le Trec as well as Canicross, fly ball and agility.

I now live with my husband in the Herefordshire countryside accompanied by our cat, Cobweb, and two Labradors, Benson and Blackberry. At home we also have six horses ranging from 8hh to 18.3hh and from 12 to 26 years old. As an owner, I understand that you want the best for your animal and you want it at the time they need it most. This is why, in addition to pre-booked routine appointments, I will work evenings and weekends to get to your animal at the earliest opportunity
